Company
We are a globally active family-owned business with origins dating back to 1952. In 2017, a leadership transition towards the third family generation was initiated and Leif Schick took over as managing director.
At our headquarters close to Hamburg, Germany, we manufacture our ruggedized MF/HF antennas which are available in various options and are extraordinarily resilient against even the harshest conditions. Further special antennas include non-directional beacons (NDB) as well as submarine antennas.
In the areas of communication, electrical components and security we provide excellent equipment from our long-standing partners (i.a. Blue Sea Systems, McMurdo, Marinelec, Cobham Sailor und Hepworth & Wynn). As such, we cover the areas of radio and satellite communication, GMDSS equipment, emergency solutions, fire detection, wiper systems and much more.
Due to the increasing appearing extreme weather conditions, lightning protection on yachts is becoming more important. ELNA’s target is to make sailing yachts and motorboats safer.
ELNA is a member of Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland e.V. (maritime cluster Northern Germany / MCN).
