How to use the search function?
Just enter the words you want to search for and push the "Search" to start.
You also can vary and restrict your search using the multiple search options:
- Search:
- The option selectors let you restrict your search to a special part of the ELNA web site. Documents not in the selected site area will not lead to hits in the search result.
- Operator:
- The operator option lets you specify how the entered words are combined in the search process. "And" will find documents containing all of the specified words, "Or" will reveal documents containing any of the specified words. The "Boolean" option lets you specify a combination of your own by using the logical operators "and", "or" and "not".
- Format:
- Here you can control how the search result will be displayed. The default "Long" format will display the document URL, an excerpt from the document (possibly near the words which caused the hit), the document size and date of last modification. The "Short" display option will only list the document titles and URLs.
- Sorting:
- You can also control the sequence in which the search result will be displayed. You can sort the document list by date, quality or by title.
