The new SAILOR RT 2048 i simplex / semiduplex VHF radio telephone with ATIS for inland radio telephony is a part of the Compact 2000 programme introduced by S.P. Radio, Denmark - Europe's leading manufacturer of maritme radio communication equipment.

The new SAILOR VHF is a conveniently small set, built to a high standard both mechanically and electronically. The small compact cabinet has room for both transmitter, receiver and a large 6 Watt loudspeaker.

The set is equipped with an audio amplifier capable of delivering an additional 6 Watt into an external loudspeaker. The RT 2048 i operates with a continuous output power of 25 Watt and reduction of transmitting power on all legally defined channels.
