Cable

• Coax cable for the connection between the control unit and the antenna (diameter 11.2 mm)
• HF cable for the connection between the antenna and the multiswitch (diameter 13.2 mm)

Requirements: Power supply: 24 V, GPS and compass data (NMEA 0183) is recommanded for an maximum perfomance of the system. Data input can also be done manually. Boats without NMEA 0183 compass data can use a gyro interface works with almost every gyro-compass on the market.

Main functions of the new control unit:

• Selection from default satellite database
• creation of an individual user-list which can contain up to 200 satellites. Preferably this user list should only contain the favourite satellites for that certain area, once the selection via control wheel is done the system will automatically start searching for the satellite by using the selected satellite's orbit position, the GPS data and the compass heading
• based on the GPS - and heading data the system will drive to the calculated position, start searching the satellite and increase it's search window until the satellite is found

Following a loss of power the system will automatically track the last satellite it was tracking before the powerloss
