The LAZ 5000 is universally applicable for navigation purposes from shallow to deep waters.

It can be operated with one or two transducers for any frequency generally in use, including retrofit with transducers of other makes. The LAZ 5000 offers 5 basic ranges from 10 to 2.000 m.

The high resolution LC-display permits continuous obversation of bottom recordings and shows all relevant navigation data.

The display includes continuous indication of digtial depth and range. Bottom alarm can be set at any required depth.

The LCD can display the servicing and initial setting menu. To keep the unit user-friendly this menu does not need to be rolled during normal operation.

The unit is designed to store the last 24 hours' data together with the position so that a printout can be made on an optional printer.

The LAZ 5000 is provided with a serial interface in NMEA format for

• output of depth values on Digital Depth Indicator DAZ 25 or similar equipment
• input of time, date, and position and a parellel printer port for Epson or other printer.

The echosounder LAZ 5000 can be installed according to requirements: fixed or movable, mounted on the wall or flush into a desk.
