New generation ARPA / ATA/EPA computer with 50/20 target tracking capability harnessing state of the art processor technology.

Manual or automatic target acquisition with 3 auto acquisition options:

  • Dual guard rings, one fixed and one variable
  • Footprint acquisition zone around Ownship with fully variable parameters
  • 14 programmable guard zone sectors, incl. 50 point exclusion zones (Ownship or ground stabilized) 0.1nm to 80nm tracking range

Reference target for ground stabilization. No restriction on targets tracked on a single bearing; high turn rate capability. Sea or ground stabilized vectors with momentary or latching true / relative vector option. Single target or 6 target tote data display. Built-in ARPA / ATA/EPA training simulator.

Enhanced signal processing, featuring:

  • Dynamic rain clutter rejection
  • Manual and automatic sea clutter cancellation
  • Pulse to pulse and scan correlation
  • Signal enhanced for increased target visibility

Comprehensive mapping facility with true (ground stabilized) or relative (to Ownship) options. Library of 16 symbols (fairway buoys, cardinal marks, waypoint and anchorage) and 4 line styles available in 4 colours. Full set of Navigation tools:

  • Cursor with Range/Bearing, Lat/Long, positional TCPA and remote point-to-point range/ bearing measurement facility
  • 2 independent VRMs
  • 2 EBLs, offering floating position and predicted Ownship track (Curved EBL)
  • 4 independent parallel index lines
  • User definable Ownship graphic
  • UTC and local time indication

Display presentation facilities:

  • Head up, course up, and north up modes
  • True motion, relative motion - relative trails, relative motion - true trails (DC mode)
  • Set and drift from manual input, tracked reference target of position sensor
  • Night and day display colours with brilliance level adjustment of radar, markers, data, plots and maps
  • Variable vector and trail times to minimize screen clutter.

Extensive interfacing capability:

  • Standard NMEA message format for data interchange
  • Position fixing (GPS/Loran) and Navigation / IBS interface
  • Full Log and Gyro interfacing options
  • Diagnostic test facility
  • Printer output
  • Networked watch alarm
